FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can you pick up from any Pier?

A: Usually we pick up and drop off from Central Pier 9 – but we can pick up from all major Piers. For Sai Kung pick up and drop off – there will be an additional fuel charge of $1000.

Q: What is the maximum amount of people we can take on board?

A: 44 – on the bigger JUNK – Social distancing rules apply
33 – on the smaller JUNK – Social distancing rules apply
No JUNK will/can exceed the PAX limit!

Q: What time stretch do / can we rent the boat for?

A: DayJUNK = 10:00 a.m. – 18:00 p.m.
NightJUNK = 19:00 p.m. – 23:30 p.m.

Q: Can we bring our own catering?

A: Yes you may – then you only pay the daily/nightly boat rental price
If however you do use your own, please make sure that they supply their own warming trays – we don’t have onboard

Q: Do you have any cutlery/crockery on board?

A: We do – however – we cannot guarantee that what you are looking for will/might be there – so in order to avoid any disappointment on the day – bring your own. Then you know what you have! However, due to the pandemic of the COVID-19 (and strand) outbreaks, it is safer – and more hygienic, to bring your own cutlery/glasses/plates, etc.

Q: Can we take the boat out to different locations?

A: With pre-arrangements – yes (Please note: If you want us to Pick up / drop off / travel to or from Sai Kung and surrounding or further areas – add on $1000 fuel charge)

Q: Do the crew speak cantonese/english

A: Mostly cantonese – broken english (but we have ways to communicate to the captain and crew if need be) – GOOGLE TRANSLATE IS ALWAYS A WINNER

Q: Can we bring on a D.J.?

A: Absolutely – yes you can (Big Junk (44 people) is the one set up for DJ booth) – it is suggested that if you do bring your own DJ – that they supply their own equipment – including speakers, and back up generator etc. Our speakers are Bluetooth.

Q: Is the Junk Wheelchair friendly?

A: With pre-arrangement – we will be able to make it wheelchair accessible.

Q: Is there a proper toilet on board?

A: Yes, it even has it’s own door that closes

Q: Can we “view” the JUNKS before hand

A: If you are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of them at Pier 9 or any other pick up point/s – be our guest

Q: What voltage is on the JUNK

A: 220V – we have outlets

Q: Can we charge our phone on board

A: You can – we suggest USB charging

Q: Can we stop off at a beach?

A: Clearwater Bay, Po Toi, Turtle Bay (not on the Island itself – just swimming), Joss House Bay – these are the favourite ones (If you want us to Pick up / drop off / travel to or from Sai Kung and surrounding or further – add on $1000 fuel charge)

Q: Is there a way to re-heat food on board?

A: Yes, we have a microwave on board.

Q: Is there a fridge on board?

A: Yes, we have a small fridge on board to keep a cake/pudding cold/from melting. (Size = 19 inches x 18 inches)
